To Buy or Not to Buy the Latest Gurus Product

Every other email I get seems to be a real estate guru promoting a new latest and greatest product or system. SIMS, How to Sell Houses in 5 Minutes, 5.0 superfast software to get leads in seconds….lol. I am exaggerating a bit but you know what I’m talking about.

Honestly, some of these products are not bad but if you’re on a limited budget and can’t afford to spend $500 or more, the best thing to do is research the reviews from everyone else first then make a decision. Don’t worry about “you have 1 more hour to buy or this product and/or price disappears forever”. 9 times out of 10 the product will be offered again within a few days at the same price or lower price.

I am a fan of promoting good products and systems to my followers if it will help your business. I’m in the process of finishing my own product (e-course) and I believe it’s a good product and will help your business.

Remember, any product or system you buy make it work for you and make your investment back before you buy another product or system. This is my rule of thumb and it works and you are less likely to curse the product or system you buy and say it doesn’t work.

To Your Success,

Lo

  3. I am up to here with guru-mail. I have been on 350 of these webinars, spent many thousands on courses and what I have come to know is this.

Instead of buying “another course” or connecting another hose for monthly bank auto-withdraws, take ONE thing. Learn it cold. Make it work. I agree with Lolita (love the name) If you don’t make money you don’t buy another course. Don’t get hooked into webinars. These guys are ruthless with their automatted emails every 5 minutes. I can’t delete them as fast as they come in! If you start getting them, unsubscribe quick or you will be spending all your time reading hook ads and all of your evenings getting reeled in. They have no shame. It’s a “SELL FEST” and in the SIMS case, Greg is paying everybody who is anybody to recruit as many as they can. It’s kick-back central! The the “done FOR you people” are like Obama’s promises. Once you buy in to the agenda, you become one of the sheep.

It’s up to you friends. Nobody cares about you. Educate yourself and move into it. Don’t be an education lifer and never do a deal. Remember, you can eat an elephant one bite at a time. Any other aproach will leave you working against yourself. Now go forth and conquer young Jedi!

My husband and I are real estate investors, but we also own and run a business to help other real estate investors – we build and design professional websites for them, whether they sell guru products and need to be able to collect payments (e-commerce), or they are like us, and just do investing and want a lead-catching website or want to project a more professional image. We can also offer marketing plans to promote their website on the internet. But since I have received sooo many emails with real estate guru offers, and I know how annoying it can be when the email isn’t solicited, we don’t use our contact base of other investors to spam over and over again to attract customers. Instead, we use internet marketing, SEO, word of mouth and referrals. This seems to be more effective, since the leads come to US. When you finish putting your own product together, Lolita, give us a call so we can help you promote it :) 214-994-4742 Amy

  7. Great post Lo,

I agree with Joseph, “take ONE thing. Learn it cold. Make it work” …..Personally, I’ve got enough courses and “stuff” and used to suffer from the “Bright Shiny” object synrome always wanting the latest and greatest thing that came out. Until you take ONE course or methodology and work it; REALLY work it and implement it you will continue to be unsuccessful and BROKE! I speak from experience. There’s some good stuff that comes out but that doesn’t mean you have to jump on the bandwagon and purchase it. Like Lo said, If you don’t make money you don’t buy another course.
