Real Estate Investing A Good Investment In A Bad Economy?

This is a question that many people have about real estate and real estate investing in today’s market. With a recent report stating that for every home being saved from foreclosure 10 are going into foreclosure.

Here is an article I recently wrote “Why Real Estate Investing is the One Investment That You Must Make”. It may seem that now is NOT the time to get in to real estate investing but this article will prove why it is.

Lolita, good topic. My opinion-The question about real estate’s timing is a result of heard mentality (and we can all get lulled by it’s appeal) The time to be concerned about real estate is when everyone WANTS to buy. Everyone should have been concerned in 2007-2008 when the media was bullish on real estate in general. The other dynamic is that there is no such thing as a national real estate market, it can be a great time to buy in Dallas while a poor time to buy in Canton, Ohio. Warren buffet said that there is a very high price to pay for the meaningless reassurance that comes from a cheery consensus.

I love your points Greg, thanks : )

  3. I agree buying a home in the current economy can be a very tough thing to do. However, despite the fact that it really affects one’s own capability of buying, it does not hinder people to do whatever it takes for them to just buy a house of their own. That is why there are REALTORS® who could help guide them on the current issues as well as give them advice or options in dealing with this kind of situation. Thank You for your very helpful tips!:)
